Earlier this year, the French fashion house Louis Vuitton unveiled a new collection of textiles, created in conjunction with the street-art-artists. Then the prints for scarves,shawls and headscarves, in a square shape were created by artists from Japan, the U.S. and Brazil: Aiko, Retna and the Os Gemeos brothers.
Now a new collaboration with street artists Eko Nugroho from Indonesia, EINE from the UK and eL Seed Franco-Tunisian origin. These prints are created for the classic square scarf by Louis Vuitton, leopard scarves created by Stephen Sprouse, as well as two new shawls – Monogram and the Karakoram. So, Eko Nugroho created drawings inspired by the urban and popular culture with traditional Indonesian motifs, el Seed, was inspired by Arabic calligraphy covering the Monogram scraf, and EINE painted scarves in large letters with inspired by urban graffiti .
